Young Professionals
The Society's Young Professionals (YP) program is committed to helping young professions evaluate their career goals, enhance early career skills and boost professional network. IMS organizes regular activities, such as YP receptions, panel discussions, and industrial visits aimed towards Young Professionals at I&M Society conferences, particularly at the Society's flagship conference, the IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Conference (I2MTC).

- Who is an IEEE IMS Young Professional?
- The definition of a young professional is set by IEEE and is the following:
- You must be a current member of IEEE (or IMS for this case).
- You should be within 15 years of receiving your first academic degree.
- If you meet the above definition, you are automatically a member of the Young Professional Group (to IEEE and IMS)! Click the link below to join.

- IMS IEEE Young Professionals have access to a multitude of benefits geared towards furthering education, career resources, recognition, technical content, and other opportunities to extend your professional network.

- For now, the Young Professionals meet annually at the flagship IMS conference (I2MTC). Additionally, at I2MTC, there is a Young Professional reception for networking and starting off I2MTC strong!
